By registering as a developer, creating an app, or using the Developer Services, you agree to be bound by:

2. Eligibility

You are responsible for:

4. Permitted Use of Developer Services
You may use the Developer Services to:

Access user‑approved data
-
Publish content on behalf of users

Manage groups, listings, or creator tools

Provide analytics or moderation features

Integrate business or marketplace services
All usage must comply with these Terms and applicable law.
5. Prohibited Use
You may NOT:

Scrape, harvest, or collect data without consent

Access data you are not explicitly authorised to access

Circumvent Buzzkiki safety systems

Misrepresent your identity or your app’s purpose

Build apps that promote harm, abuse, or illegal activity

Enable harassment, spam, or manipulation

Sell or share user data
-
Reverse engineer Buzzkiki systems

Use API keys in client‑side code
-
Build competing social networks using Buzzkiki data
Buzzkiki may block or remove apps that violate these rules.
6. User Consent & Permissions
You must:

Use Buzzkiki’s OAuth flow for all permissions

Request only the minimum data required

Provide a clear explanation of how data is used

Honour all user privacy settings
-
Immediately delete data when access is revoked
You may not:

Use dark patterns
-
Require unnecessary permissions

Access private messages or sensitive data

8. Content Safety & Moderation
Apps must comply with Buzzkiki’s Safety Policy and Online Safety Act obligations.
You must not:

Generate or distribute harmful content

Facilitate harassment, hate, violence, or adult content

Allow under‑18s to access age‑restricted content
-
Spread misinformation or harmful narratives
Apps that publish or modify content must:

Use Buzzkiki’s classification tools

Provide reporting mechanisms

Respect user blocks and safety settings
9. Marketplace & Commerce Rules
Apps interacting with the Marketplace must:

Prevent counterfeit or illegal goods
-
Support dispute resolution
-
Respect payout and refund rules
-
Verify seller identity where required
Apps must not:

Auto‑generate listings
-
Manipulate prices or reviews
-
Enable fraud or evasion of safety checks
10. Security Requirements
You must:

Secure API keys

Use HTTPS for all requests

Implement rate‑limit handling

Protect against injection and replay attacks

Maintain secure coding practices
You may not:

Expose API keys publicly

Allow unauthorised access

11. App Review & Approval
All apps must pass Buzzkiki’s review process before being made available to users.
Buzzkiki may:

12. Monitoring & Audits
Buzzkiki may monitor your app’s:

Data access patterns

Safety compliance
-
Error rates

Security posture
Buzzkiki may conduct audits at any time.
Failure to cooperate may result in suspension.
13. Incident Reporting & Response
If your app is involved in a safety, security, or data incident, you must:

Notify Buzzkiki immediately

Revoke compromised tokens
-
Provide logs and evidence
-
Cooperate fully with investigations
-
Patch vulnerabilities promptly
Buzzkiki may:

Suspend your app
-
Revoke API access
-
Notify affected users
-
Report to regulators
14. Suspension & Termination
Buzzkiki may suspend or terminate your developer access if:

You violate these Terms
-
Your app poses safety or security risks
-
You misuse data
-
You fail to comply with audits

You breach legal obligations
Buzzkiki may permanently ban developers for severe violations.
15. Intellectual Property
Buzzkiki retains all rights to:

You may not:
